DEFINED NAMES formula FROM SHEET 1 TO SHEET2

I have a workbook with 2 sheets work and summary.

I have defined the ranges in sheet work .

the summary is a consolidation of data from sheet work .

But when I make the formula from sheet summary , the defined name does not appear when doing the formula .

my question can defined ranges from a sheet be used in a formula in another sheet .

In same sheet define name works when I consolidate the formula but on another sheet in same work book.

Can someone advise or should I use table nomenclature

I can't give you further advice without seeing your file. You haven't described what your data looks like or how you would use a table.

So the nodefine and summary sheet green tabs with formulas works well.

But with definenames in red tab ,on summary sheet the qty define names did not activate but for description and origin it works when calling define names ,I remain ?? why for qty used the cells references instead of defined names??

tried on adjacent directly calling name manager this one unsuccesful with zero data ??? .

I don't understand the question either; I think there is a language barrier.

But I did look at some of the things you mentioned. All I can tell is that the formula in sheet "SUMMARY TESTDEFINE" in column D (Qty_1) uses a reference to TESTDEFINE!D$2:D$92, which is not defined to have a name. So if you are expecting this to be a name instead of a cell reference, that is why.

Where exactly do you want to use range names instead of cell references?
