Tried to copy a table into excel, but the whole thing gets copied into one cell!

I only have two pasting options: "Keep sourcing format" and "Match destination formatting". Both these options copy the whole table to one cell. I can use the "Text to Columns" data tool, but that would still take ages to rearrange everything into a table. So far I have resorted to copying everything line by line into one cell, but this will still takes ages because the tables have so many lines. There must be an easier and quicker way of doing this!

I was curious if you were trying to do a Web extract which would require a different solution.

Since it is a .pdf document, then try this solution------>https://www.economicsnetwork.ac.uk/tips/pdf2excel

If this does not work for you, then you may try one of the many Converters available. Some are free, some are trial then fee and some are fee based. A google search will bring many hits.
