    Conditional Formatting problem

    Hi guys

I am having real trouble with a formula for a conditional format. I have Col M3 as a date when someone leaves. In Col R3 i have a drop down list where i can choose Proxy for 1 month or Proxy for 3 months or Deleted (picked up from sheet 3). I have added a Deletion Date in Col N that will add either 30 or 90 days depending on the option chosen from R3 from the leave date in M3

So if M3 has todays date, and i choose Proxy for 3 months in R3 i want N3 to be M3 plus 90 days, that will turn red on that date

I have worked out that =IF(R3="Proxy for 3 months", M3+90) adds 90 days but i cannot work out how to include the plus 30 days if i choose Proxy for 1 month, let alone the conditional formatting

    Help!

    Re: Conditional Formatting problem

What exactly is in cell M3? Is it =TODAY()? If it is, it's not going to work as the date will move as the date changes.

    Re: Conditional Formatting problem

No M will have a date set as the leavers date, so if they left yesterday 12/10/17 and i add the formula above to Deleting date in Col N i want the cell to go red on the 30th or 90th day so it reminds them to remove the account

    Thank you

    Andy
