    performance %

    Hi so im trying to create a rate table so 100% is 450 how do i make it so anyone under 450 it will show how far they are from 100% and if there over 450 how much over 100% they are

    My simplistic idea, place the following in B1, then change A1 to whatever value you'd like

    This might give you somewhat of an idea of how to accomplish what you are asking.
    Basically you divide the rate by 450 to get the percentage under or over 450
    NOTE: Be sure to format B1 as Percentage

    LBUG has a much nicer solution than mine.
    As for where to learn excel, this forum is a great resource as is Google.
