Strange Shrinking Text in one merged cell

I have been using the same basic spreadsheet for many years to quote for work.
I have my business name in 36 font Cambria in merged cells 1A-1D that have each been altered in size.
in the last week when I open any of the old files the font for this cell appears fine for a fraction of a second and then reduces to be visually about a size 9 font but states 36.
It prints at about 9 also.
If I alter the size it reverts back to normal and I can save to PDF or print but if I save it and reopen it does the same thing.
I cannot find this anywhere on the net.
Any suggestions on a cause &/or solution?

It might help if we could see a CLEAN sample of your file, otherwise we are just guessing and working blind
To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

Hi Ford,
I apologise for being a novice at this.
I believe that I am trying to find 'manage file' in the wrong location as I cannot locate it.
Can you please lead me by the hand BEFORE your wording of 'click advanced' (next to quick post) as I am probably in the wrong location.

No problem

At the bottom right corner of "this" window (where you type your reply), there is a button that says "post quick reply". Well, right next to that is the "go advanced" button

Hopefully the file is now attached.
The problem is the Only Awnings in Blue & Red
This is the area that shrinks when I open it.

Interesting. When I open the above file after posting it to this site it does not shrink.
If I open it on my PC it shrinks.
