    Drop Menus

Hi guys, thank you very much for your tips so far.

I have a big question for me at the moment.

So I have 2 excel files, and I want to connect drop menu from the first one to another one. So when I change something in the first worksheet (then automatically change on another). I did the same with normal cells like =SUM('[File1.xlsx]Sheet1'!A2) but it's only normal cells, and on drop menu, this formula doesn't work.

    Please help

    Thanks

    Re: Drop Menus

One cell only reflects the value in another via formula. Drop down menus are not formulaic, they put flat values in the cells.

You could employ VBA to programmatically mirror two cells with flat values. Do you use macros/VBA in your projects?

    Re: Drop Menus

No, because I really don't have time to program it in VBA. Maybe it's not a big program but I'm not only VBA programmer to know how everything will go.

I did it on the way that I put formula for text and connected to my other file, I don't have drop menu in the main file but I don't need
it because I will change everything in the first one. But if somebody has solution for dropMenu without VBA would be great also
