    Arriving at a percentage

How do you get a percentage from two numbers. In other word if you have 398 units completed in one cell from a total of 6050 in another, how would you calculate that as a percentage? All help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Just divide one by the other, e.g. with 398 in A1 and 6050 in B1 use this formula in C1

    =A1/B1

    format C1 as percentage
    Audere est facere
