how to put like alarm in excel or condition

Hello people,,,
my question is if I have for example dates for example:

11/1/2017
12/1/2017
15/1/2017

how to say when there's only 10 days and the date will be 30/1/2017 highlight the cells above as alarm that there's only 10 days left for the due date

how I can say in excel =IF(A1>A1+10),"yes",no") I tried this formula it didn't work.

maybe something like IF(42765-10>A1,"yes","no")

what do you mean by 42765?

sometimes the date (for me we use 1/30/2017 whereas you use 30/1/2017) of 1/30/2017 doesn't work well in a formula so I find that using the numeric value works better.
Now my excel settings are (under file >> options >> advanced) use the date system that begins at 1900 (some use the 1904 date system). The 1900 system is actually a number count forward from the year 1900 so 1/30/2017 is 42765 days from 1900. So I often use the number in the formulas as I find the formulas work better.
