I need help when you highligh a cell - mouse clock once. Please Help ! ??

    Hi,
I am looking for a way to really emphasize when you click a cell. I can not really tell that I clicked it. Is there a way to show or highlight the border of a cell when you click on it.. like some sort of moving line.

    thanks.

    Hi There,

Not sure why you are having this requirement because this functionality is pretty standard. Have a look below. I selected a sheet cell and its highlighted and also the cell address is displayed in top left side corner

Because it is a coloured box and the colour outweighs it.

But you can still check the column and row markers?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

The cell is filled with a colour, I shrink it to fit the page. I cant see the outline amongst all the other coloured cells. Because they are also merged cells.

We are not talking about the cell itself, we are referring to the row number (1, 10, 57 etc) and the column letter (A, J, Ac etc). These will also be highlighted to show you where you are. Other than using some VBA code, I cant think of an easy way to do what you want

The cell border is animated. it is like some small dots like this one ' . ' around the outside of the cell and travel along the edge of the cell making an effect. Kinda like a mouse over thing.
