How to count and sum cells based on background color in Excel?So the cells are highlight by conditional formatting this for your info.
So if cells A1 to A15 are highlight red to result to show up ate cell C1.

I think that there is no formula can refer to format.

But with the formula of conditional formatting, we may have clues what criteria of the cells, and use COUNTIF and SUMIF.
