Notice when copying worksheet - "the name already exists"

    Hi,

I often copy a worksheet with formulas as I use these to model different properties.

Always when I do this I get the message attached as picture. I get like 50 or 100 of them so I need to hold in enter for 10-20 seconds for each copy before redoing the exercise.
Any good tip on how to avoid this? It always refer to certain "names" that already exists.

    Can you supply additional information?
Are you copying a sheet to another workbook with a sheet that has the same name?

Attaching a sample workbook enables others to work on your problem:

To attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include BEFORE/AFTER sheets if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and click "manage attachments" to open the upload window.

Re: Notice when copying worksheet - "the name already exists"

    Sorry, please see attach sample.

When you try to copy the first tab you get the message: name already exists and I need to hold enter for some second to get through.

So I would appreciate any input on how I can avoid them.

    Thanks,
    RKP

You gave a ton of defined names causing the error when you copy a sheet.

Goto Formula=>name manager to see all the defined names.

Sorry to dig up an old thread. What happens when you remove everything on the Name Mangaer screen, you hit save, close the workbook, reopen the workbook and you're still getting those errors? Any other steps? Thanks.
