    How to format for "Years, Months, Days" (spelled out)

    I've been trying to figure how to format cells to indicate duration of time in a Years, Months, Days format (as in col. G of my exported sheet), but am getting nowhere. Is this really as hard as I'm trying to make it?

    There have been discussions about this before on the forum and you should be aware that leap years can slightly skew results.

    In G2, copied down:

    =DATEDIF(F2,TODAY(),"y")&" Years, "&DATEDIF(F2,TODAY(),"ym")&" Months, "&DATEDIF(F2,TODAY(),"md")&" Days"

    Hi all- This removes zeroed periods:

    PS forgot to mention, I put TODAY() in $L$1. It's a volatile function, not a great idea to be re-calcing a hundred instances.
