Copy time to another cell without copying fill color?

    Question Copy time to another cell without copying fill color?

    In the attached example, I'd like to copy the Custom/Time formatted text in cell A1 into cell A2 without overwriting the green fill color in cell A2.

    I'd like cell A2 to auto-format to Custom/Time when it copies.

    Is this possible? If so, how?

    MetroBOS,

    You are looking for the "Paste Values and Number Formatting" option within paste special. Just copy A1, then right-click on A2 and select Paste Special, then Paste Values and Number Formatting.
