    Grabbing data from table

    Hi all,

I am trying to figure out how to perform a function in which I can grab score data from a table formatted e.g. "3-4" and then insert a function to separate that into a home column and away column score. I have attached the original question as jpgs Screen Shot 2017-11-18 at 6.30.06 AM.png
that my professor has posed but I am just looking for insight as to if this can even be done? I have been attempting this question for about a week now, trying different functions, with no success. Thank you for taking the time to read this! Hopefully someone will know what this entails.

Hi EmilyJoell, welcome to the forum.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

Your file appears to be corrupted. Please reattach a fresh copy & check that it is working.
