Date held as text conversion
Hi
I have annoying issue. So I have a database output with a column of dates with the following format: '2014-08-15 00:00:00.0000000
the apostrophe seems to force excel to denote it as text; however when I try to do a bulk find and replace it can't find them. If I delete them individually then I can format the cells as I want but there is 1000s I would need to fix.
Any thoughts?

Why not use text to column?
Use single quote as delimiter. And specify result as Date type. Then delete the column containing blanks.
