    Rota planner with Holidays

    Hello all

I was wondering if any of you helpful peeps could lend a hand? I work offshore and I have had a tinker with this Rota planner. We work a 3 weeks on/off rotation and would like this sheet at a glance to show if I am supposed to be home or away on any given date. We also get 3 weeks additional holidays in 3x one week blocks at random times throughout the year. I was wondering if anyone could suggest how to incorporate the additional 3 weeks (Titled AFB's) into the planner to show if you are home or away.

Any help would be greatly received.

    Re: Rota planner with Holidays

    I tried the following.
I named the first two columns in the table OFFSHORE and the other two ONSHORE, quite logic.
The formula next to the AFS is a LOOKUP which returns the nearest value, at least that is how I intepreted it.
The If test is that if the result of the lookup of the AFB value in OFFSHORE is greater than the AFB you're AWAY else you're HOME
If you fill in 2018 in the red cell you'll see that august your HOME

    Hope this helps a little
