    Distribution of quantities

    Hello friends:

I'm stuck! and i really needs your help.‬‏
in this table i have 4 column, the third column
contine the formula Opening multiplie by A1-A15.

the sum of column D must be the same sum as column C
column D is round of column c.

    Constraints
Column D Must be round number (Integer)
The Sum Of Column D Needs to be the same number as Column C
if not ( like this situation) the difference or the Add (2 in this situation (29-27)) will
added or reduced only from mar, jun, sep,dec in Column D
in this situation we will reduce 2, so we reduce 1 from march and 1 from june

    Re: Distribution of quantities

Hi. I got stuck looking at this. There is an easier way, but I've been starting at it for so long, my head is fried!!

It's an array formula. Array Formulae are a little different from ordinary formulae in that they MUST be confirmed in the FIRST CELL ONLY by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER. After that, the array can be dragged down as normal, to cover the desired range.

You will know the array is active when you see curly brackets { } - or "curly braces" for those of you in the USA, or "flower brackets" for those of you in India - appear around the outside of your formula. If you do not use CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will (almost always) get an error message or an incorrect answer. Press F2 on that cell and try again.

Don't type the curly brackets yourself - it won't work...
