    How do you hide various columns on a pivot table with no table

    Hi

    I have a table driven from access, have set the FY, as year and then period, the financial period is from Apr 17 to May 18. This is shown as year 2017 period 4 to year 2018 period 5. I have data populated upto period 11 (November). However I want to show the remaining periods on the pivot year 2017 period 12 to year 2018 period 5 which have no data. When I ask it to show items with no data on the pivot, I get periods 1 to 3 for year 2017. Is there a way to exclude those without hiding the columns. Please see pivot format below.

    2017/18

    Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    Did you read this?

    create dummy data then create pivot table and on AFTER tab show what you want to achieve

    Workbook now updated as requested, as explained this pivot is normally linked to MS Access, have shown on the before 2 tab, the table that would be linked

    in your BEFORE PT you've FY filter so tick there Select multiple items and next un-tick (blank)
