    Extracting DATA

OK so for some reason Walmart.com has no way to export you receipts to a CSV, or anything for that matter, at least not that I'm aware of. I had a sheet that used to clean up my receipts, but I never really understood the formulas, and now it got messed up and I don't know how to fix it. Attached is the sheet I just deleted all the formulas cause I thought I'd start from scratch so I could understand them, but I'm at a loss here, can anyone help? As you could see in the attached sheet the 1st column is the raw data from the receipt copy/pasted from the website, the next 2 columns are the cleaned up DATA, i want to be able to just paste the raw DATA and gave it automatically clean up said DATA so then I could paste it on the second TAB.

    Re: Extracting DATA

Maybe easier will be with Data - From Web (paste url of your receipts) - select table to import etc etc...

    Re: Extracting DATA

No offense but I don't want to paste my receipt URL because it contains personal information, I could post a screenshot of the receipt without the personal info, would that help? But all I did was just straight copy/paste directly from the online receipt and pasted it without formatting into the RAW column

I didn't say I want your personal info.
Simply try it yourself, maybe after import data will be in any "correct order"

Well, yes and no, I could make it always 4 lines, it wouldn't really be that much more effort

I'm not sure what you are trying to say, "Simply try it yourself, maybe after import data will be in any "correct order""

    Re: Extracting DATA

I'll take that as a 'no', then. The whole idea is that you want a way of dealing with the raw data in one fell swoop. Can you supply sample data that has all possible variants?

Just simply try and see what you got.
If you don't like result - delete file and try another way

maybe it will help: Connect to a web page

try 1 or 2. These are two different ways.

They are the dates from the receipt, I don't mind pasting them in cause it's really just 2 simple steps

OK, so it won't let me import the receipt cause when I use PQ to bring up the page it only brings up the login page

    Re: Extracting DATA

Do you really? Oh dear ...

    Rule 08: Cross-posting Without Links

Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Do not cross-post your question on multiple forums without including links here to the other threads on other forums.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Expect cross-posted questions without a link to be closed and a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us to help you!

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).

No further help to be offered, please, until the OP has complied with this request.

The 1st way, by clicking From Web on the Get External Data tab does paste the website in the sheet but it's no more usable then if I manually copy/pasted it myself. And the second way, once I get to this point, Capture.JPG I can't do anything else to log into the page it says "In the Access Web dialog box, click a credentials option, and provide authentication values." I can't find the "Access Web" dialog box. Plus I can't just click where it says username and password because it won't let me
