    sharing a spreadsheet

I have an excel file with multiple tabs of data. I would like to give someone access to view one of the tabs only, is this possible? I use Dropbox, so I was thinking maybe there is a function to share only one tab of one spreadsheet in there if it is not available in Excel. Perhaps Google Sheets? If none of those solutions work, if any of you know of a solution please let me know, thanks!

Using Google Sheets is one way. Create a separate workbook with just the single sheet you want to share.

If that is not feasible for your needs, you can password protect all sheets except the one you want to share and let the other user access that one sheet.

Either of these approaches work ?

There are some slight differences between Google Sheets and Excel .... and I am not familiar with Google Sheets (sorry).

However, usually what you can do in Excel your can do in Google. You can do what you intend to in Excel.

Microsoft also has ONE DRIVE https://onedrive.live.com/about/en-us/ which is an online
repository for your Excel projects. That is another way of sharing workbooks that are EXCEL only.
