Good day!
I currently have a project where data from SharePoint feeds an excel workbook on a regular basis. Some of the data included is project start and end dates, project status, etc.
My issue is that I can't find which status a project was at months ago because the status keeps updating, so if I am trying to collect historical data from Quarter 1, all I get is up to date information.
My solution was to copy the selected sheet into a new work book on a weekly basis and disable the data connection to prevent updates.
I was wondering if anyone possibly had any much better suggestions than my manual approach?
