    I would like to transform everything to minutes, (days hours and minutes)

    I would like to write universal formula that will be spread in 3 cells and will transform every single cell into minutes.

    Cell A1: 60m
    Cell B1: 4h
    Cell C1: 1d

    I would like to get following results with one single formula:

    Cell E1: 60
    Cell F1: 4*60=240
    Cell G1: 1*8 hours=480

    Can someone help me?

    In E1, F1 and G1 do you want just the result(s) 60, 240, 480? Or do you want the to show the calculation with the results?

    Assuming:
    - you'll be literally entering things like "4h" in the cells
    - you will only use m, h and d

    I've made a big IF-formula to calculate the minutes. Is this what you're looking for?


    EDIT: I just saw your days only have 8 hours, so you'll have to change the 1440 in my formula to 480

    In a little bit different approach (namely assuming that you enter your time number and units in separate cells), one could use the CONVERT() function to do this (https://support.office.com/en-us/art...d-666c810f9af2 ) Pay particular attention to the specific text strings allowed for each unit when you enter the units. Something like:
