hi there. select the range you want to apply to (say from K2:P17)
go to Home tab -> Conditional Formatting -> New Rule -> Use a formula to determine which cells to format -> Format values where this formula is true:
=INDEX($B:$G,MATCH($J3,$A:$A,0),MATCH(K$2,$B$2:$H$2,0))="X"
Format cells and choose the color desired.

Well, place the Cursor in Table 2, Cell J3, make the selection from data validation : say ABC.
At this point I want that cells associated to this selections from table 1 and marked with x (cells K3 and M3) to highlight.
Once the data is inserted, cels dehightlight

I do not want the Logical in cells, just hightlight (which is doing) and de highlight after value input
