Need help on simulating this web exercise in excel

    Dear Excel Gurus,
Appreciate if you could let me know if this kind of simulation is possible to do in excel. I came across an online simulation checklist which is simply awesome. Here is the link http://genesisconsulting.com/solutions/agile/agile-test

    Regards,
    Sunil.

No need for VBA. Just need spin button.

Copy table from site into Excel. Clean format as needed.

Add Spin button (form control) for each row.

Set max to 10 for each and set reference cell to cell in Relative Score column.

    Add Average function at bottom.

Now, I haven't done comment part. For that you just need to get all possible results and it's score range from the site.

List it in another sheet, and use Lookup or other function to pull info.

    See attached.

    Hello CK,
You are a rockstar!! Appreciate your lightning fast reply. Do we need to use a separate sheet and lookup functions?

I see that the overall score is displayed on two assumptions.

If the score is between 0 to 6 then the display message is "Consult your PMO"
If the score is above 6, then "You're Ready For Agile!"

    Regards,
    Sunil.

If there's only two answers. Just use IF function and reference the Average calculation cell.

    Something like...
=IF(D12<=6,"Consult your PMO","You are ready for Agile")

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Expect cross-posted questions without a link to be closed and a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us to help you!

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).
