If I want to present a date as day-date-month
How can I do this? and drag it down in cells?

Select all the cells then
Format Cells > Numbers > select custom under category > dddd dd mmmm
enter the dddd dd mmmm under Type:

Unfortunately Excel does not have a built-in way to format dates to show the ordinal day-of-month (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.). You will have to put your dates in one column then use a formula in another column to display the date in the format you want. (A VBA solution may also be possible.)
