I need to copy data that is duplicated in column A to a new sheet but need the entire row copied across as well, I was trying to use =VLOOKUP($A$1,'sheet2'!$A$5:$AY$789,COLUMN(A1),FALSE but that only copies the first row of those duplicated.

Try in another sheet2. In "A2" Suppose your data in sheet1
