Excel 2016 Autofill fails to show 'fill series' menu

I wish to insert as simple series - 1,2,3, etc in column (with earlier versions of Excel it was simply edit-fiil-insert series).

However, Autofill is enabled (as per instructions [+] below), but displays the Quick Analysis Tool menu and not the Fill Series menu.

How is the Autofill 'Fill Series' option menu enabled ? TIA

[+] 1.Click the File tab, and then click Options.
2.Click Advanced, and then under Editing options, select or clear the Enable AutoComplete for cell values check box to turn automatic completion of cell values on or off.

Many thanks - not sure why the Quick Analysis Tool menu kept appearing, but no longer does.
