Filter isn't being applied to the proper range?

    Hello,

I am trying to apply the filter to the rows containing an "X" but only for the range of A6 to A9. So in other words I
would to leave the rest of the rows (A10, A11 ... etc... ) unfiltered. The following command filters all the rows

How can I apply the filter only to the rows in the range of A6 to A9 ???

    Thanks
    RN

I'm not sure if you want to keep the "x" or hide the "x"

You could loop through the 4 rows

    Hi Davesexcel,

Most of my environment is down with
    Filter and unfilter
If I use hide and unhide that will change a lot of
    Things in my code...

Isn’t there a way to apply a filter only on
    A certain amount of rows????

It may just work if you had a blank cell in A10

Re: Filter isn't being applied to the proper range?

A10 is irrelevant as its not part of the range ... no matter what we put in A10 the filter should ignore it...

and the worst is sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.... and why is it applying the filter to all the other rows below A9?????

"sigh" all day ..... and I still can't figure it out
