    I think your subject title breaks rule 1 as it's not specific enough.
    That's just my opinion but considering 36 people have read what appears to be a simple tiered lookup and you have no replies it's highly likely everyone's waiting for a moderator to ask you to change your subject title before submitting a reply.
    If I were you I'd change the title to something more specific and see if that gets you any replies.

    To be honest with over 1500 posts you should really be used to creating a specific title when posting.

    Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

    I disagree. It's not a simple tiered lookup. And I think the title is fine. I think people aren't responding because it's a hard formula to create.

    "To be honest"is superfluous; unless you normally aren't honest when you write things.

    You can disagree all you want, but you are the one asking for the help. A senior forum member has asked you to change the thread title. You can choose to change it, or you can choose not to change it, your call.

    It's not a simple tiered lookup. I think people aren't responding because it's a hard formula to create.
    Special-K made an observation what the solution could be, but I doubt he is sold on the solution. If you knew the solution you wouldn't be asking the question. If you are curios now that your up to 55+ views, I think people are not responding because it is extremely hard to understand where some of your calculations are coming from.

    "To be honest" is superfluous; unless you normally aren't honest when you write things.
    I would not throw stones. You might be interested in the book, How to Win friends and Influence People. You might say based on what I have said here I should read it too, but again, your asking for help and the forum members here are willing to help you out for free as long as they can understand your request. A high view count normally means i

    I think people aren't responding because it's a hard formula to create.
    Again, hard to understand your requirements, so might want to beef up your thread title and explanation.

    Oh BTW, we have a commercial services forum if you would like to pay for services.

    @ammartino44:

    "Help with inventory and COGS file" isn't much different to "Help" which contravenes Rule 1. If you look at the suibject threads of solved problems you'll find they relate specifically to an Excel formula or method or VBA commands, not the subject to which Excel is being applied like "Help with how many donuts I sold today"

    To be honest, I won't be at looking your problem at all now.
