Using Excel to automatically update shipment's tracking information.

Hello everyone, I was curious to know if Excel offered any functions to automatically update tracking information in a cell. For example, I paste a tracking number from USPS in the cell and when I open the Excel file, it automatically looks up the tracking and in the same cell (or one next over) it shows "delivered, out for delivery, delayed" etc.

I found an add-in called ShipTrackAddIn, however it doesn't work for the latest version of Excel plus the author hasn't updated the program in months, so people are reporting that it's not updating properly in older Excel versions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hey Avk, not really sure what to include in a sample Excel file but I can give you some more information. The website/shipping company is USPS www dot usps dot com and for example we could use tracking number 9403310200830564150309

So in an Excel file I would have a list of clients and a reference number to what they purchased, plus the last cell would be the tracking number (9403310200830564150309 in this case).

My goal is to open the Excel file and Excel would automatically retrieve the tracking information from Usps and show that information in the next cell after the tracking number.
