Find & Replace values displayed as percentages will not work (yet)

In row 6, there's 50 values of all types; text, and numbers.

Included in the row are values of 10.0%. Perhaps 25 instances, all are 5 characters, entered as displayed. 10.0%.
Number format is as percentage.

I want to use find and replace to make them all 5.0%. Result: Excel cannot find any instances of 10.0%.

I've launched the F&R box, (Match entire cell contents) tried entering the 5 characters 10.0%, or just the 10.

Excel responds that it couldn't find anything to replace.

Anyone know what might be causing excel not to find and replace?

A coworker helped out. need to enter the search as 10%.
