Dynamic link to external picture..?

Hi All,

My first post here, so be gentle =)

I've been working on a excel sheet, where I need to have +500 pictures changing according to user input.
Until now, I have used named views, and it works fine with a few, but going up to 500, I would like to have pictures external and in a relative path besides the workbook.

I found how to link an external picture, but can't see how to get it to change. Also I would avoid using VBA/macro since we need to send this to customers who don't want to enable macros.
Is this possible? We are using office 365/2016..

I think an attachment of a sample spreadsheet and say 3 of the external pictures will get you a better response, as it is hard to visualize what you require

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
