Scatter point labels don't update to reflect changes in charted series

Hello Experts!

I have a table that contains the data for a scatter chart, including a column with labels for the data points (see attached).

But when I delete rows from the middle of the table (causing lower rows to recalculate), the data point markers update correctly, but the associated labels often do not display.

I also have another a little question about a cell in the table that isn't behaving as expected.

Both questions are explained further in red text in the attached workbook.

I cannot comment on the first question, because my older version of Excel does not natively support labels from cells.

As to the 2nd question, I am a little confused. You claim that you deleted the 3.15 row, but the current value in E33 (the value referenced by the formula in F33) is 3.15 (formatted to 1 decimal place so it displays as 3.2). If you don't want F33 to use the value stored in E33, what do you want it to do? Maybe =...&TEXT(E33,"0.0")&...?

Hey thanks, Mr. Shorty! That definitely answers the second question.

But my first question is still out there and I'm open to answer from anyone with a version of Excel that natively supports scatter chart labels. I hope to hear from you!
