ISNA in FORMULA REMOVES THE ANSWER

Hi Eveyone

Please help.!! I have attached a spreadsheet which indicates my challenge.
In the TAB named UNITS I have indicated in cell A4 what the problem is.
SO - if I use the formula that is in that cell , the answer that should be there is blanked out . It should be 2.
The idea by using ISNA is to remove the #N/A from the cells when not being used - see the formula in cells A5 B5. ( I havent added the ISNA part )
When I add the ISNA into the formula it removes the answer.

I cannot figure out the correct formula - PLEASE ADVISE

You are not using ISNA as it is supposed to be used - ISNA will return TRUE or FALSE, so you are not inspecting what ISNA contains, which is the way you would need to go.
If you want to suppress errors, I would use the IFERROR function thus :
