Auto Extract Data from Multiple Workbooks into One Master File

    Hello All,

    Please see attached.

In my master file, I am trying to retrieve basic data from a common template that my technicians use when they survey a job. The problem is that I have thousands of these and we have no way to automatically extract this data.

In the example provided, I need a macro that will look at all excel files loaded into a folder, and retrieve the data and populate it into the master.

Example contains a Master file, and three site files.

SITE ID on Master ---> Cell "D5" from site files

Was the provided site address and access details accurate enough to locate and enter the site? ----> Cell "A10" from site files

If the address is incorrect or there was an issue finding or accessing the site, provide bull details -----> Cell "G11" from site files

What was the site access detail used to successfully access the site?-----> Cell "G13" from site files

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

You can try with PowerQuery (free add-in for Ex2010 Pro Plus from MS site)

Give this a whirl. Just change SourceFolderName to correct Folderpath.
