I'm not sure how to convert charts, I don't know if it's possible as the charts would be created by a reference to the data in excel and most likely some essential info would be lost when converting to pdfs.
However on the positive side it is possible to convert tables back to worksheets using https://www.nuance.com/en-gb/print-c...converter.html.
Also it is possible to bring data into excel from a wide range of sources using Data > Query. You can even reference files and if you're doing this often it's certainly worth watching https://youtu.be/miUTG38k2mA ExcelIsFun Highline class. One of the first few lessons is about bringing data in with Queries and using the Data Model which would be of benefit to you I think.
i have this as a scanned PDF file
Sorry to hear that, if you had it in digital form then you'd have a chance. You could try scanning Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software and see how you get on with that. I'm sorry I don't really know much about that nowadays. I remember trying it 10 years ago and it was not 100%; saying that the software should've come a long way since then. I'd imagine you'd want the paid software. If you were able to get the raw digital format you'd have it I imagine so obtaining it is probably out of the question as it would make things a lot easier.

Are you trying to extract text etc from a "PICTURE" (as per your link) or from a "PDF"?

Do you have OneNote which comes as standard with Office365?
