Cool Re: Power Query - Find and Replace Line Breaks

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    Which Line Breaks:

or if you know what with what
select all columns, then... Home - Replace Values

If that takes care of your original question, & to say Thanks, please click on Add Reputtion (bottom left corner of the post of the person(s) who helped you)
then select Thread Tools from the menu (top right corner of your thread) and mark this thread as SOLVED.
If you did it already - ignore it.
    Thank you.

I am trying to replace the break we usually do via keyboard "Ctrl + J" or "Alt + 0010"

Re: Power Query - Find and Replace Line Breaks

I am afraid it doesn't allow in Power Query unless you enter a value to find and replace.

Usually in a spreadsheet I use "Control + J" or ALT + 0010 (in Keypad) to find the "Line Breaks" and easily replace them.

In the Replace dialog, click Advanced options, then check the 'Replace using special characters' option, and choose Line feed. Or simply enter
    #(lf)
    into the Replace box.
