Picture in Comment in Excel Cell

Hi, I keep a log of the antiques I buy. I am wanting to place a picture of that antique into the cell next to the description. I've entered a picture of one item in a comment in the cell. When I hover over the cell, the picture appears - small and kind of distorted - and the minute I move my cursor it disappears. Is there anyway I can access the picture so I can make it larger and retain it for a moment or two? Thanks.

Right mouse click and then Edit Comment

xls is extension of Excel 2003 . Proper extension for Ex 2016 is xlsx

So what you're saying is this only works in 2016?

most of features are not accessible in xls version

You can insert a picture into a comment in Excel 2003: Right-click the cell, Edit Comment > Color and Lines, Color dropdown > Fill Effects > Picture

A cell's comment will remain visible for as long as you hover over the cell, or always visible if you select View > Comments.
