How To - Users can enter data in cells, but not make any changes

Hello!

First post

I'm wondering how I can format an entire excel file so that users I share it with can enter data, but won't be able to make any changes to cells, formatting, etc.

Is there a (relatively easy) way to do this?

I have Excel 2013.

Format all your cells as Protected, then format the cells that you want to allow them to change as unprotected. Then protect the sheet, and they will only be able to change unprotected cells.
