Data Prep by Filling in Data Gaps from a Report Download

Sometimes I get data downloaded from a report from our main system and it comes in the format:

    A 123
    456
    789
    B 333
    444
    555
    C 22222
    33
    123
    etc

I want to easily fill the gaps in between so that it looks like:
    A 123
    A 456
    A 789
    B 333
    B 444
    B 555
    C 22222
    C 33
    C 123
    etc

I don't know if there is a function or feature to do this or whether it can only be done with VBA.

Or you can perform these steps.

Select A and B column-> press control+G -> Click special -> Check mark on blank ( all the blank cell will be highlight ). now just pass = and arrow up and confirm with control+enter not just enter.,
