    Sumifs formula do not work with links

    Hello,

    I have sumifs formula working when all the linked worksheets are opened, however when one of linked file is closed, the formula shows errors.

    Is there any other formula in excel which can be used for multiple conditions with linked files instead of sumifs?

    Please see the attached file. In report1_adjustments file, I am doing a sumif formula in column B to Column G based on date, report name, column header from a linked file "Adjustments". When the file is opened, sumif works but when the file is closed, it shows an error. For example purposes, I have included three sheets, but these three sheets are multiple files.

    Please help!

    Yes it does! Here is avk's formula in sumproduct form (it does not need Ctrl Shift Enter confirmation)

    I didn't evaluate your problem, I simply translated avk's formula into sumproduct form.
