Why are there so many Name with #Ref! despite nobody creating them?

Hi, i am looking some of my company file. I click on the name manager, i discover that they are hundreds of name with the #Ref! and also print area name. But i know that they never create any of those. I realise that most file which is shared by many user usually have these Error name. Why is it so? Does Excel auto create them? Like when u set a Print area etc, does excel auto create a name for them?

I duno how to insert picture. Hence please see attached for printscreen. Is it safe to delete all of these Error Name?

    Hi,
The print area names are created by Excel; the others are not. If the users didn't do it, they must have some add-ins that do so.

Can you provide an example? Like what action the user do, then will cause such incident.

Anyway, will linking to another Workbook caused these?

Naming a range would cause it. Other than that, an add-in is the most likely cause. Copying sheets from other workbooks that contain the names could also transfer them.
