Excel 2010 changing 1 word

Excel 2010 changing 1 word in a cell. I have thousands of cells with about a hundred words in each cell and I'm trying to replace one word with a different format and there are over 600 of words I'm trying to format and when I do the entire cell is formatted so how do I just format the 600+ words and not the entire cells?

If you can specify the characters, then just those characters can be reformatted. Try recording your specific reformat and then edit the recorded code for all situations - that's the way I do these things

No, what I mean is: Set up the record macro feature, select the word only in the cell that you want to format and format it. Then end the macro.

I recorded this with "Really Big Fish" in a cell:

This turned the black word Fish into the blue word Fish
