Would like to create this color coded reminders masterpiece

Hello Excel Masters - I am a total newbie to excel. I know how to do almost nothing, but I have seen the power of excel work for others and Id like to lear how to do one specific thing. I am a very very busy social worker with more work than I can do and I need a better system so I can know when an important task is almost due so I can work on it in time. I found this video. This is my goal. It's perfect. You may notice the author provided a download link for the spreadsheet but it doesn't work on my chromebook using excel online, and besides even if it worked on my work computer it would eventualy succumb to the harsh work computer environement and I would'nt know how to fix it. The spreadsheet you reference is based on VBA macros with very few, if any formulae.

Very sorry John - it wasnt my intention to duplicate a post. I thought because none of it worked for me and I was now asking the group for tips on how to learn HOW to make the said spreadsheet, it was a new post. I believe VBA for Excel 2016 is now on the MAC - not sure about earlier versions - MAC is your platform (now or future).

Possible options:

1. Modify current worksheet (subject not breaking any copyright): an VBA expert might consider doing this depending on scope of changes.

2. Develop a "bespoke" version.

3. Re 1. and 2. consider using "Commercial Services" to undertake the work.

You need to provide a clear specification for which ever path you want to consider.

Nothing needs explaining - thank you, John. I've just learned through your help that Im in way over my head here. The learning curve is too steep before I start this job in three weeks alongside everything else I have to do in that time. I think its much wiser for me to refer to the commercial services you speak about. Any advice for me regarding working with them?
