I have a data set (15,000 rows) in excel that looks like the sample below. Is there a way get to some thing that looks like this? Basically I want to count the entries by customer, get the last date, and output in one row.

customer Number of purchases date last bought total spent

This is what the data looks like now:

customer 1 07/08/2017 $54
customer 1 08/08/2017 $58
customer 1 08/11/2017 $37
customer 1 08/15/2017 $23
customer 1 08/20/2017 $78
customer 1 08/23/2017 $76
customer 1 08/27/2017 $54
customer 1 09/08/2017 $54
customer 2 07/08/2017 $54
customer 2 08/08/2017 $58

Re: Help Consolidating Data

Hi, welcome to the forum

you could probably do this with COUNTIF() and then maybe a MAX(IF()) array formula.

to give you more specific advice, I suggest that you upload a small (clean) sample workbook (not a pic) of what you are working with, and what your expected outcome would look like.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Regards
Ford

To attach a file to your post,
click advanced (next to quick post),
scroll down until you see "manage file",
click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
