    Data Validation drop down list

    Hi, Can someone show me how to use dropdown list using data validation. I want to start typing somebody`s name and get the results instantly.
    I have attached a small sample of what I need. I know that I can use the filter option where I untick everyone and then tick the persons name but if there are hundreds of names it is very time consuming scrolling through the drop down list of names.
    Hope this makes sense. Ideally I don`t want to use VBA as I don`t know how to if I`m honest.
    Any help is appreciated.
