    Study Event Table into Calendar

    Hi Everyone -

I've seen a couple of posts regarding similar needs, but not quite what I am looking for (though I think I am really shooting for the stars given my experience level). I run a study that runs groups of people in through about 26 separate appointments. While the first group may be on the 20th visit, I may have other groups on the 3rd or 16th visit, for example. As you can imagine, as I begin having more and more groups doing different visits, eventually they will overlap. I am trying to salvage my sanity by creating an Excel file that will populate a calendar (preferably color-coded by "cohort" or group) so that I can quickly see that I have "Cohort 1" doing "Event C" while Cohort 3 is doing Event A while also Cohort 2 is doing Event B. I have attached my drafted table for a reference of what I am looking for.

Thanks in advance for any help!
    -mdp

Just kidding about the attachment, apparently I need to post a bit more until the forum lets me post a link.

To attach an Excel file to your post,
    • desensitize data
    • remeber that your example should reflect structure and type of data and contain the result what you want to achieve (manually created if necessary)
    • click Go Advanced,
    • scroll down until you see Manage Attachments,
    • click that and select Browse,
    • select your file and click Open,
    • click Upload and you will see your attachment below Upload Files from a website
    • click Close this window,
    • click Submit reply
After that you should see attachment in your post

Re: Study Event Table into Calendar

I hand-crafted a calendar that I'd like to have - the color on the calendar matches the color of the cohort from the table. I did through 3m follow up of the first two cohorts, but you can already see events from cohort 1 overlapping with events of cohort 2. With added events and cohorts the calendar will populate with all of these, giving me a visual representation of what events I need to prepare for. Again, this might be a pipe dream and I am flexible enough to use more of a "project planner" layout - I just want something that I can glance at that shows which events I need to prepare for.
