Copy conditional format to a cell that shares same row, but different sets of column?

The forum won't let me link to any images or let me place the conditional format fomulas in this post due to HTML restrictions therefore I've attached the actual excel document itself.

When I use the format painter, to copy the conditional format from C2 to C3, it's able to do so as intended. I.e. it uses the cells in B3 & D3 to perform the comparisons instead of C2's cell row B2 & D2. This is great & efficient.

I have a cell , G2, that shares the same row number as C2, and would like to paste the conditional format from C2 onto it. Like C2 it, G2 has numerical values directly to its left F2, and right, H2.

When I use the format painter, from C2 to G2, it doesn't replace any of the cell names, with those corresponding to G2, F2, or H2. Has anyone had luck, getting Excel's to, in this, treat G2, like C3, when using the format painter?

I think if you get rid of the ABSOLUTE references ($ signs), you will be able to copy/paste as you want.

I hope this helps, please let me know!
