Awarding points based on a range of values

    Afternoon all,

I am trying to award a set number of points based on whether the value of a certain cell is within a certain range.

Essentially, if cell c1 is between up to 500+/- i want to award 5 points, up to 750+/- 2 points and anything over 750+/- 0 points.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what exactly you mean by plus or minus - plus or minus what? If you are going to award points, you need a distinct point boundary.

    =LOOKUP(A1,{0,500,750},{5,2,0})

So is this what you want?

    =LOOKUP(A1,{-750,-500,0,500,750},{0,2,5,2,0})
