disable accelerating and descelerating in excel 2016

Just started using excel 2016 and noticed that from my previous version, if I press page down or page up it moves and then the speed of movement decelerates. I'm ok with it on touch-screen phones, but here it's soooo annoying....... It just adds unneeded time to navigation. Is there a way to turn that off?

Also, is there a way to speed up movements through the spreadsheet when you press page up/ page down. This version seems to navigate a lot slower than my previous one even if you do not take into account the deceleration effect.

Ugh, and we wonder why our higher speed processors don't seem to bring faster response. MS uses the extra cycles for fluff.

On Office365 they added a bunch of 'animations' that sound similar to what you describe. I'm not sure if this will work for you, but it allowed me to remove the stupid slow scrolls and cell updating. From: https://support.office.com/en-us/art...0-22cef9fa025a

1. Open the File > Options dialog

2. Under Advanced tab (For Excel 2016) or Ease of Access tab (For Office 365) un-check "Provide Feedback with animation"
